What's new

What's new in Nimus

We are building Nimus in public with feedback from parents, therapists, and BCBA professionals.

Clearer Development Map goal testing

Goals are now tested as Achieved or Not achieved only. Milestones show as emerging when goals are ready or achieved.

  • Removed confusing 0.5 score on goals — formal goal tests are binary
  • “Ready to test” is work readiness; Achieved / Not achieved records the formal test
  • Confirmation before saving a goal test
  • Milestone grid shows emerging when any goal is ready or achieved

Polish: upload page, homepage CTAs, extract API

Upload and homepage navigation are aligned with the rest of Nimus; AI extraction fails gracefully when not configured.

  • Upload uses the standard header and shows a clear message when AI extraction is unavailable
  • Homepage demo CTA opens the app when you are already signed in
  • Privacy and Terms pages added; Progress links to Programs

Reversible milestone goal passing

If a whole milestone is marked passed by mistake, reverting it now only reopens the goals that were passed by that parent action.

  • Directly scored goals stay unchanged when the parent milestone is reverted
  • Goals without direct scores fall back to readiness from linked mastered programs

Development Map notes and ready goals

Clinical notes can be saved without a score, and linked mastered work now marks goals as ready for testing.

  • Save clinical notes independently of score changes
  • See ready-for-test goals when linked programs meet requirements
  • Score individual goals without auto-passing the whole milestone

Development Map cleanup

The temporary target repair button has been removed from the Development Map.

  • Removed the obsolete target repair action after data was corrected

Child photos in settings

You can now add a child photo for the app avatar. Demo data seeding controls have been removed.

  • Upload or remove a child photo from Child settings
  • The app header and child switcher show the photo instead of the initial
  • Destructive demo data seeding controls are no longer available

Development Map in your language

The Development Map screen now switches between English and Russian with the rest of Nimus.

  • All buttons, labels, and score history use the selected language
  • Language preference is remembered like on other pages

Redesigned dashboard overview

The dashboard now highlights who you are tracking, key program metrics, quick navigation, alerts, and active programs in one place.

  • Child card with age, developmental age, and Development Map level
  • Metrics: active programs, targets in progress, goals ready to test, mastered total, 30-day independence
  • Insight cards for stalled targets, nearly mastered programs, and weekly independence trend
  • Active programs grid with last trial timing

Shared child access now shows the same core data

When you invite another user to a child/client, they can now see the authorized child-specific Programs, Analytics, Dashboard, Progress, Reports, and program details.

  • Programs and analytics now load for invited collaborators/viewers
  • Core child pages use the active child access record instead of the viewer account owner field
  • Added regression tests to catch this shared-access issue before release

Dashboard Development Map preview corrected

The dashboard now shows Development Map level progress from assessment milestones instead of legacy mapped program counts.

  • Level 1–3 progress now matches the Development Map assessment data
  • Legacy mapped programs no longer make a level appear complete on the dashboard
  • The dashboard card now opens the Development Map directly

Email magic-link login and demo videos

You can now sign in with any email address — no Google account required. We also added demo videos in English and Russian.

  • Sign in with email magic link (no password needed)
  • Works with mail.ru, yandex, corporate emails, and any address
  • Language switcher on the homepage
  • Demo video in English and Russian
  • Invite acceptance now works with email login

Demo child, reports, and progress tracking are live

We added a demo child with realistic ABA session data so BCBA reviewers can explore Nimus without setup.

  • Demo child with realistic progress data
  • Progress table with + / P / − session evidence
  • BCBA supervision report
  • Programs, targets, stimuli, and levels
  • VB-MAPP-style progress map

Curriculum templates and child sharing

We added curriculum templates and the ability to invite other users to review or collaborate on a child/client.

  • Child/client access sharing
  • Email invitations
  • Owner, collaborator, and viewer roles
  • Default Nimus Early ABA Curriculum template
